How the Naperville Bathroom Prices on This Site Are Built

Every range here comes from prices that remodelers in Naperville and DuPage County publish on their own websites, or from dated national cost guides where no local list exists. Each row carries its source count and the date we read it. None of it is a quote for your bathroom.

Where do the Naperville numbers come from?

From published price pages, read on September 17, 2026. The three local rows (hall bath, mid-range and primary suite) come from four Naperville remodelers and one DuPage County firm. The tub-to-shower and walk-in shower rows come from national cost guides, because no Naperville list for them was found, and they are labelled national everywhere they appear.

How is one range made from several price lists?

A row is only called local when at least two local remodelers publish comparable prices, and the table says how many price pages back it. The hall bath row, for example, rests on four lists whose tiers read $8,000–$18,000, $8,000–$15,000, $15,000–$30,000 and a refresh from around $8,000; the site shows $8,000–$18,000. Every publisher behind a row is named in the Sources list of the cost guide.

Why isn't a range a quote?

Because your bathroom isn't the average one. The tile and vanity you pick, the size of the room, whether the layout moves and what turns up behind the walls all change the number, and a home from the 1950s or 1960s can hide systems that no longer meet code until demolition. Only the pro who sees the room can quote it, in writing.

What might a range leave out?

Permit and inspection fees, for one. Naperville charges an $18 clerical fee plus $25 per plan page and $50 per inspection for a remodeling permit, and permits across DuPage and Will County towns run $300–$1,500 for most projects. Allowances can move the total too; the hiring guide explains how.

How often are the ranges checked?

When we re-read the sources and a number changes, the range is updated and the change is logged with its date on the price updates page. A row whose sources are gone is taken down rather than left stale.
